(Photo: Mail Tribune) Article By: MEDFORD, Ore. – Former Medford Rogues catcher Joey Morgan was selected by the Detroit Tigers with the 95th pick in the third round of the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft. Morgan played for the Rogues in 2014 hitting .351 with 13 hits, eight runs and seven RBI in 37 at-bats. Prior to his time with the Rogues, Morgan (Sisters H.S.) was the 4A Oregon Player of the Year.
