Chris D'Amico pitched five innings of one-run baseball to pick up his league-leading 7th win, and Ben Kiefer, Johnny Radomskiy, and Omar Ortiz all homered power the Rogues to a 13-4 victory over the South Bay Storm.
Four Ringtails errors aided the Rogues in a seven-run sixth inning in which all seven runs were unearned to help the Rogues defeat the Redding Ringtails 12-7. Southpaw Gilbert Romero struck out the side in the ninth.
The Rogues fell to the Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox 10-6. The Gold Sox scored the first 10 runs of the game, but the Rogues battled back late in the late innings. With two aboard, Tre’Von Doresy lifted a line drive to left field that carried over the wall for a three-run home run to cap off an eight-run fifth.
With the game tied in the top of the ninth inning Caleb Broughton doubled to center to drive in the go-ahead run to give the Rogues the 9-8 lead. Brice Foster picked up the save in the 9-8 victory over Top Speed Baseball.
Maxx Mahon (Vanguard University) put the Rogues on the board in the second inning with a solo home run, his third of the year. He tacked on another run in the sixth inning when he doubled home Caleb Broughton (Bucknell University) in the Rogues 5-1 victory over the Sacramento Heat.
