Rogues to Host Big League Camps03/15/2017 12:19 PM Article By: MEDFORD, Ore. – The Medford Rogues are proud to bring the BIG LEAGUES to southern Oregon with the addition of ‘Rogues Big League Camps’ taught by former Major Leaguer, Freddy Sandoval. Camp sessions begin in April at Harry & David Field. ‘Rogues Big League Camps’ are broken down into specific categories (Hitting, All Skills, Coaching) to help grow all aspects of the game for both players AND coaches. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to learn from former Major Leaguer, Freddy Sandoval right here in southern Oregon! Sandoval will teach methods he learned and applied during his time playing with the Anaheim Angels and implement the mental skills program he used with the Kansas City Royals. Hitting Clinic- $75 This clinic will cover all facets of hitting including introduction, applicable mental skills and practical application. Saturday April 8- 9am-noon Saturday April 29- 9am-noon Sunday May 21- 9am-noon All Skills- $85 This all skills clinic will cover all facets of the game including intro to etiquette and discipline, base running, offence and defensive. Through drills and practical application, the player will leave this clinic with a renewed focus and outlook on their approach to the game. Lessons and curriculum will vary each camp so players are encouraged to attend multiple camps to build on skills learned each camp.
